Positano deserves a

Excellent Italian restaurant. Linens on the tables and I was seated where I requested even though it was well away from other customers. The bread prior to the meal was well presented and the olive oil served in a saucer. The menu features a customize-your-own option and so I had Fettuccine Bolognese. The house Chianti was good enough. The meal was capped with a Sambuca and the server was savvy and knowledgeable enough to put the traditional three beans into it. Service was perfect: accommodating without being over present. I will return.

I came here with my family after looking for a great Italian place while in town. I am very pleased with my overall experience. I ordered the Nectartini and it was delicious. We got the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and it was hands down some of the best marinara sauce I have ever tasted. All plates we ordered were really good. The highlight of the experience was the tiramisu. It was so good that it was gone in literally a few seconds. We will for sure be back next time we are in town!!!

Spaghetti, Lobster Ravioli, Veal, oh my! Spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. This is not on the menu but I asked for it and they delivered! The sauce is full flavor and rich with a nice lean meatballs. The Lobster Ravioli sauce is to die for awesome! Craving “Good” spaghetti and decided to come to Positano off Lawndale drive. Service is great with a friendly and quirky long time server. Short review due to only having the two dishes but was very impressed. The bread for the oil dip is in house baked and the garlic oil mix is nice too! Atmosphere: comfortable for date night or special occasions with nice Italian decor and Mediterranean colors.

It is so hard to go anywhere for all in a group to be 100% satisfied. It was nothing short of amazing! The bread was so good. We all three got ravioli, but each got a different one, all were great. The food tasted amazing and although it did take a little while to be waited on, it was worth the wait and it's definitely somewhere that we'd come back and it will probably be a go to when we want Italian and are in the area. I do not give compliments like this lightly, as i am a very tough food critic. 10 out of 10, i recommend this place!

We had a work lunch and a birthday celebration combination. We had calamari & mussels appetizers. My food was magnificent, I had the Positano dish with linguine. The dish was cooked to perfection. Even the bread and seasoned olive oil was heaven. I'll definitely return!

This is the place you want to go to for the real ‘mobster Italian dinner’! Everything is perfect! The sad thing is, wife and I went on a Saturday evening(530) and there was no wait line?!?!? Oh yeah everyone else was at the ‘commercial chain places’. smh this place is the real deal...... GO!

Very nice establishment. Great customer service. Reasonable price range. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend their Pepperoni Pizza and their Bianca spinach Pizza. They have a nice selection of beers and Wine. Great location. Easy parking. There was one little issue. The lighting was a little dark for me. My wife used her cellphone light to look at the menu. All and all this establishment was one that I Highly recommend.
